Hi! This is the last blog, I have to say that this semester enjoyed English class. The semester before (English 3) it was a bored and I try to skip it every time I could, but this semester I spoke a lot with my others classmates and I feel like I practice my English a lot, even when it was a hard thing to do get up early hahahahha. But seriously for me this semester was a fun thing goes to English class, because it was a break from all of my other subjects in which I always have to think a lot and try to solve things and most of the times I fell asleep in the process (ups). When I came to Santiago I m ade myself a tour for the city and a building there I really like was “La bolsa de comercio”. I have always like old building I think there are fancy and have this kind of magic and history there I just find fascinating. Is a built with the shape of a tringle in Bandera street in the center of Santiago and it has the most beautiful alley with some new coffees like Starbucks and shops but with an architecture old. The building was built between 1913-1917 and it was officially opened on December 25, 1917. It has a very classical style which I really love and is something about the shape of the building there I find very interesting; the architect is Emilio Jecquier a French Architect hired by the Chilean government to made the center of Santiago more elegant and less rural. Fist I have to say there I would like to learn a lot of things, like there are subjects at my career there I would really like to have the opportunity of know more of, such as sustainability and design because these two subject are very important for architecture in general and for me because there involve the kind of architect there I want to be. Today I´m going to talk about something there I really passionate about. For me it has always been one thing and is ballet. I always wanted to be a ballerina. I did ballet since 7 years old to 17, so for me it is something essential in my life, even if a don´t practice anymore. I start really young and I love going to my class because it was so much fun, at first I was with all my friends and bit by bit my friends go but I stay and got more and more involve with the position, and the technique. Then I start to go to an academy in a bigger city (Temuco) so I had to be more independent and responsible. Ballet made me grown up and that is one of the reasons why I’ll always be thankful for. Hi! Welcome to my blog again, this week I’m going to talk about my Fiestas Patrias vacations. This is one of my favorite holidays of the year. Well this year, as always I went to Victoria, my birth city, to be with my family. The first day of my arrival my mom, my grandmother and I did empanadas, and they were very good. In the afternoon of that day we make several competitions like “carrerra en saco”, “gincana”, and others. It was really fun. The second day we make a barbecue and dance cueca, my dad dance very funny so we laugh a lot of him. By the third we eat everything that leftover of the previous days and it was kind of sad because my big sister and my dad had to leave to Santiago (to work), but I had the whole week so I was able to stay with my mom and my sibling. In Victoria tried to study but I was too comfortable and loose so I did almost nothing, in sted I spent time with my sister and my mom. Hi! Today I’m going to talk my best friend Mariajesús well known as "Chocho". We meet at kindergarten and had been friends since then, we have a lot of stories together, so for me is very difficult to think just one or two. Wheel, we always were together at school or then after school, and even in our vacations, once she invited me to go Lican Ray with her family, we were 13 or 14 years old, we went to the breach every day and get all suntanned, we also went to the “feria” and bought earring, make up, etc. and then do pajamas party and have fun. There is another time when we went to the snow with my family and I invited Chocho and we do a very funny trip in the lifeline because we want to go to the cafeteria there was up the hill so I went up first and then I supposed to wait for her on the top because she was with my sister, but they delayed to much there and I went down, when I was arriving to the star she was beginning the trip so I have to went up again, we laugh a lot...

Welcome again to my blog, today I’m going to talk about newspaper… I know it is a little bit old but newspaper in another time it was the way to inform many people about what was going on in the world, cities, countries, etc. because before they did not exist social medias, and was a fast way to deliver information. If you ask me, a do not read newspaper at all, I love reading but not newspaper, for me it seems boring and it takes a lot of time there I don´t have. But I keep inform by tv and web sites, I believe this way is easier and faster, and some time the information is more objective than the newspaper, well at list the web sites there I see, not the tv. A newspaper there a really don´t like is “la Cuarta” because they publish a lot of Chilean entertainment, about Chilean Actresses, panelists, football players, etc. and I do not think it matters, and I definitely think is not right publish staff about someone else’s life and it’s even more unparodied plush it in a newspape...

Hi! Welcome again to my blog, today I´m going to talk about my favorite subject on this semester. I cannot deny that this semester has been the most difficult there I ever had, and that is a reason why I feel that I haven’t put everything on me to get better in my assignments but other ways the subject there I most enjoy is history of classic architecture. First of all, my teacher is very great and funny, he knows a lot because he reads and have been in a lot of places so he can explain in a better way how thing actually happens, how they look and how to appreciate the old architecture in the reality places, he takes his own pictures, shows us in class and tell us funny stories about how he took these pictures and combines them with history. Hi! Welcome again to my blog, today I´m going to talk about why I start to study architecture. Is a funny story. Since I was 5 years old I wanted to be a doctor… almost all my life until I was 17 years old.  A big change, I know. Everything stated because I read a lot, and for my winter vacation I start reading a book call “Isla and the happily ever after”, It’s about two people how fall in love  and they traveled to Barcelona to see all the buildings of Antoni Gaudi, at first it was not a big deal but a search for this Gaudi, and then, it was my time to fall in love, of his architecture of course hahahaha… so I decided there I want to become an architect and when I told my parents, I thought they wouldn’t like the idea but they told me that since I was  little they think there I would become an architect… so they turn out to be right  and I just love my career. 

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about my favorite web site, well it is Tumblr, I used since 2011 and it was created in 2007. It is a web site where you can create a blog and publish notes, photos, videos, read stories, etc., etc. I came across the web site by my friend Constanza, and at first the post that people made seemed funny to me, a could spend hours and hours laughing and going down whit post, but after, I start to realize that there was a lot of people who had same taste like me and I start to follow more and more blogs, after I year I had a lot of followers to, that made me realize that people agree whit me or liked the same thing I like. Hi! Today I’m going to talk about my cat! Her mane is Pascal and she is 3 years old, she is the most beautiful and sweetest cat in the world, I really love her. I remember that at first she doesn’t want to be around us because she was afraid but after she just want to be with us all the time, she accompany us to eat, to watch TV and even go to the bathroom with us hahaha. She was a mom a year ago and had two beautiful kittens Lilo and Naga, we give them away to a families who wanted a cat, so I think it was all right, but Pascal get very sad. All my family love Pascal and she loves us back, we know that because she always want love and that’s the way for cat to show love. For summer vacation we went out for almost a mouth so she stay at home and my grandmother went to give her food and water, and Pascal start to say miau to loud so my grandmother thought she was asking for us. Actually when we came back she stay all night long with us and want all our love.

  My favorite technological device is my tablet.  At first I wanted one because they were new and I  thought it would be funny to get one to play and that kind of thing But a when I actually got one for Christmas understood that they were very helpful, you can do your homework, watch a movie, listen music, get very cool apps like Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, plays like candy crush, (to which I’m an addict).   Actually l love my tablet, and especially in summer when I have a lot of time because what I really love is to read!  I have like three hundred books and I can spend hours, days reading them. Step once here I spend like 20 hours in my tablet reading a book there I just love, actually I start and finish that book in the 20 hours.   I always bring it with me, and when I broke the screen it was horrible because it was my baby, but it still work so I used the same way than before.  

Hi! Today I’m going to talk about this picture… yes! Its picture of my family and me (I’m the one in the background ), and is a very recent one, it’s my dad’s birthday and It has a really fun story. We always celebrate birthdays in Victoria, the city where I come from, and for my dad we invited all his friends and family, my grandparents, my ankles, cousins, etc. Actually we always have a god time when we are together, and this celebration wasn’t the exception. All start with the happy birthday song, of course we approach to sing the song, everything was very normal and after that the guests said “a picture of the daddy with this family” so my siblings and I came near and my mom do the same, but when they are going to take the picture one of my dad’s oldest friend fell of this chair and we all start Laughing very hard, and the picture was taken anyway… so that’s why we are laughing on the picture… I think we look very happy and so I love this picture.

Hi! Today is a free theme so I’m going to talk about my favorite band, Florence + the machines. They are a British band led by Florence Welsh, who is so fancy and retro, I love her. They play indie rock music and I know them since I has 11 years old. Their first album its call Lungs Tour and it’s my favorite because is the first time a listened them but also because is the innocent one, is so cheerful and happy it really cheer me up every time a listened. The second one it’s the sad one if you ask me, Ceremonials but not bad neither, the song “never let me go” is just perfect and sand and still perfect. The third one How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful is amazing, I loved all the songs but favorite is “queen of peace” I spend months listened that song and made my sisters crazy, jeje when we went to a concert of them we had the greatest time ever because they sound, look and live amazing on stage, so if you can, listen them, you’re going to love them.  Hi!, i'm Fernanda, i was born on dicember 9th... i´m 19 years old. I grow up in the South of Chile (Temuco) so i really like could :), and i move on to Santiago last year to study architecture.   Some thing there i like to do in my free time is read... a lot, one of my favorites it's call just one day by Gayle Formman... i also like to see movies (in inglish of course), series and to draw.
